Boy, its only 6:30 p.m. and I am spent. I usually wake up cheery eyed and bushy tailed every day and today was no different.
Hi, I’d like introduce myself. I am a 2%er, What is a 2%er? Well, let me explain. I am someone who has made a life changing decision. I am someone who will surpass all those who choose not to be a 2%er. I am someone who hears the word “NO” more than the average human being. I am someone who truly wants to help people and share his awesome business opportunity. I am someone who is home working while his daughter is watching t.v in the other room……..I AM THE HOME BASED BUSINESS OWNER.

Let me give you a cliff note version of when your business plan for the day does not go as planned. My mentor has given me some strict instruction on how to organize my day. I figured if he is making the big bucks he obviously knows what he is saying. Well. needless to say my mentor doesn’t live in my life or in my shoes. He however is gracious enough to check in on me to see how I am progressing.
I woke up and greeted the day with a full potential of knocking out some business tasks that have been on the back burner for about a week. Due to LIFE. I took my little girl to school and went straight to the gym. I then went to Best Buy to get some computer items and then went home to bust a move.
Round 1 with the computer. I had 2 hours to play with. Sure enough I got snagged with a simple task of downloading an image onto Craigslist. Why did this happened. I researched my problem on you tube and no results. I went further to see if the internet could help, no dice. Before you know it, time to pick up my little girl.
I am not going to lie. I was teed off about not accomplishing a thing for 2 hard hours of work. But seeing my daughters face erased it all. With here big beautiful smile she asked me if we could go to Barnes and Noble . How am I suppose to say no to that.We stayed in Barnes and Noble for 2 solid hours. I ended up reading the whole book called the “Secret”. I heard about it and have to admit it is a must read. I plan on now using meditation as one of my disciplines. After Barnes and Noble we ended up going home singing and joking around. For a 43 year old man I can regress to a child real easily.
Round 2 in front of the computer. I lost that round too…(get It). I decided to put aside my previous issue and now move onto the next step. It sounded good in theory, but did it work. Not today. Another simple task that a 6 year old could have solved. I spent approximately 2 more hours of trouble shooting my problem with no avail. Why God? I tried some of the “Secrets” law of attraction meditation but had no particular brainstorm. I don’t blame the book. I don’t blame society. I don’t even blame that little 6 year old child that could have solved the problem. I have chosen to blame the damn computer. I figured it is an inaminate object anyway and its feelings wouldn’t be hurt as bad. Did I give up? NEVER!!! I will have my way with you machine.
I struggled until dinner time. Made dinner and was pleased that my daughter ate the whole thing. I needed to do something right. Cleaned up the kitchen and fed the dogs and went to try again.
Round 3. Upper cut…..TKO!…. 30 minutes into the round. I didn’t see it coming. I tried to call my I.T. guy. He didn’t answer. I called my second I.T.guy and he was unavailable.
The towel had to be thrown in. It was an ugly fight.
Ladies and gentlemen this is Howard Cosell here with NBC sports. I have here with me a fighter that got knocked out, but refuses to believe he lost the fight.
Howard, I will have my day with that computer.You wait and see. I will train and be coachable, I will learn and learn and when I am done learning I will learn some more. It got the best of me today, but I am still a winner. I am a 2%er. I will overcome all that gets in my way. There is always tomorrow……….
